District Attorney’s Office Detective

The Pike County District Attorney’s Office is looking for an excellent candidate to join the office as a County Detective. The position is a law enforcement position with full powers of arrest. The successful candidate will have a background in criminal investigation, arrest procedures, and the collection of evidence. Assistant District Attorney

The Pike County District Attorney’s Office has an open full-time Assistant District Attorney position. The duties of an Assistant District Attorney are the representing the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the prosecution of criminal cases. The duties include presenting evidence and legal argument at preliminary hearings, pre-trial hearings, juvenile proceedings and jury trials. The duties also include appellate advocacy including appearances before the appellate courts of the Commonwealth. This is an appointed position and serves at the discretion of the District Attorney. The person must be a licensed attorney and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test. Salary as set by the Pike County Salary Board expected to be $45,000.00. Aging Care Manager I & II

The Pike County Area Agency on Aging is currently accepting applications for a Full Time and Part Time Aging Care Manager I and II positions. If you enjoy helping people and advocate for home and community based care, this is the right position for you. This is a civil service position requiring 3 years of experience in public or private social work, and a Bachelors; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training including successful completion of 12 semester hours of college level courses in sociology social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other related sciences. This position is responsible to coordinate home and community based range of services provided to consumers by our Agency and contractors. This job requires computer skills necessary for data entry of consumer care plan management. Travel is required. Mileage reimbursement available.
