Pike County Correctional Facility is accepting applications for a full time Food Production Supervisor. The position requires training and supervision of inmates in volume food production and development of culinary skills. The starting salary is $14.00. Medical benefits package after 90 days employment. Uniforms and extensive security training are provided. The Pike County District Attorney's Office has an open full-time Assistant District Attorney position. The duties of an Assistant District Attorney are the representing the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the prosecution of criminal cases. The duties include presenting evidence and legal argument at preliminary hearings, pre-trial hearings, juvenile proceedings and jury trials. The duties also include appellate advocacy including appearances before the appellate courts of the Commonwealth. This is an appointed position and serves at the discretion of the District Attorney. The person must be a licensed attorney and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test. Salary as set by the Pike County Salary Board expected to be between $40,000.00 and $42,000.00. Pike County Conservation District is accepting applications for a full-time Watershed Specialist. The District is seeking a motivated, organized individual who is able to manage multiple projects and has a keen interest, experience and educational background in water or natural resource management to coordinate and manage the District's water resource program including in-field monitoring and community outreach. This is a full-time county position requiring a Bachelor's Degree in environmental science, water resource management, or similar field plus one year of relevant experience. Position requires strong motivation and initiative, excellent communication and project management skills, organizational abilities, and computer knowledge. Work at remote field sites including in-stream work and areas with rough terrain and outdoor work during inclement weather is part of the position responsibilities. A valid/current Pennsylvania driver's license and all Child Abuse History Clearances are required. Some night and weekend work hours may be required as part of the position. The Pike County Area Agency on Aging is currently accepting applications for a full time Aging Care Manager Supervisor I position. If you enjoy helping people and advocate for home and community based care, this is the right position for you. This is a civil service position requiring 3 years of experience in public or private social work, and a Bachelors; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training including successful completion of 12 semester hours of college level courses in sociology social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other related sciences. This position is responsible to oversee the delivery of a range of services provided to consumers by our Agency and contractors. You would be responsible to review and analyze case records for completeness and adherence to standards. You would also train and supervise staff, prepare reports, and collaborate with nurse consultants, other professionals and various state and local organizations involved in social services. This job requires Computer skills necessary for data entry of consumers care plan management. Some travel required. Mileage reimbursement available.
