The Pike County Probation Office is accepting applications with resume for the position of Probation Officer in its Adult Probation Section. Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree from a State accredited College/University (with at least 18 credits in Social Science) and a valid Pennsylvania Drivers License. There is an element of danger and risk to personal safety when working with a criminal justice offender population. Pike County Conservation District is accepting applications for a full-time Conservation Education and Outreach Coordinator. This is a challenging position, involving but not limited to, planning and implementing natural resource conservation education and outreach programs and events, developing and assembling outreach communications, and coordinating opportunities for reaching target audiences in the community. Requires strong motivation and initiative, excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and computer knowledge. Experience in media outreach, public relations, marketing, and social media is required. Bachelor's Degree in environmental education, environmental science or a related field, and one to two years of related experience, or Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Communication with science or environmental minor, and one to two years of related experience. A valid/current Pennsylvania drivers license and all Child Abuse History Clearances are required. Based on programming, night and weekend work hours may be required as part of the position. The Pike County Area Agency on Aging is currently accepting applications for a full time Aging Care Manager Supervisor I position. If you enjoy helping people and advocate for home and community based care, this is the right position for you. This is a civil service position requiring 3 years of experience in public or private social work, and a Bachelors; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training including successful completion of 12 semester hours of college level courses in sociology social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other related sciences. This position is responsible to oversee the delivery of a range of services provided to consumers by our Agency and contractors. You would be responsible to review and analyze case records for completeness and adherence to standards. You would also train and supervise staff, prepare reports, and collaborate with nurse consultants, other professionals and various state and local organizations involved in social services. This job requires Computer skills necessary for data entry of consumers care plan management. Some travel required. Mileage reimbursement available.
