DEPUTY SHERIFF
The Pike County Sheriff's Department is looking for applicants to join our professional team of Deputy Sheriff's. $15.00 per hour starting salary. Upon completion of Act 2 Deputy Sheriff Academy the hourly rate increases to $16.00 per hour. Medical coverage after 90 days of employment. Paid leave and sick time. Uniforms and equipment including weapon provided. PIKE COUNTY PUBLIC DEFENDER'S OFFICE
The Pike County Public Defender's Office is accepting applications from licensed Pennsylvania attorneys with resumes for the position of Assistant Public Defender. Applicants must have practiced law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for at least two (2) years. FULL TIME AGING CARE MANAGER 1 AND 2

The Pike County Area Agency on Aging is currently accepting applications for a full time Aging Care Manager 1 and 2 positions. If you enjoy helping people and advocate for home and community based care, this is the right position for you. These are civil service positions, ACM 1, (local government) requires a Bachelor's Degree which includes or is supplemented by 12 semester hours credit in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or other related social sciences; OR three and one-half years of experience as an Aging Case Aide and 12 college-level credit hours in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other related social sciences; OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college-level credit hours in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other related social sciences. ACM 2, (local government), requires Six months of experience as an Aging Care Manager 1, County Caseworker 1, or County Social Casework Intern; OR 1 year experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by 12 college-level credit hours in sociology, social work/social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other related social sciences; OR a bachelor's degree with a social work/social welfare major; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training including successful completion of 12 college-level credit hours in sociology social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other related social sciences. ACM's are responsible for completing assessments, care planning, service coordination and performance of ongoing care management tasks for vulnerable consumers who are in need of protection including those in need of mental health care management services who may be difficult to manage and have difficulty maintaining a safe and healthful independent lifestyle. Conducts thorough investigations of the circumstances of consumers who need protection from abuse, exploitation, abandonment or self-neglect. Job requires coordinating assigned services as part of consumer's plan of care, communicating with home health providers, lawyers, families and other human services agencies. Computer skills necessary for data entry of consumer's care plan management. Some travel required. Mileage reimbursement available.
